Even though Jesus’ strength is invisible, it is real and powerful and can keep you safe.
Whoever trusts in Jesus will be safe.
A bucket (make sure it has a sturdy handle)
Approximately 2 cups of water.
Wear clothes that can get wet.
Put on clothes that can get wet and go outside.
Pour the water into the bucket.
Start swinging the bucket back and forth. With each swing go a little faster. Then swing the bucket over your head.
Does the water come out? If you were swinging the bucket fast enough the water stays in the bucket because everything that travels in a circle needs an inward pull. This pull is called centripetal force. This pull may be gravity, a string pulling on a ball, or a strong arm holding a bucket.
If you want to discover at what speed the water becomes unstable at the top of your circle and falls to the earth in a shower, swing the bucket slower and slower!
Jesus is like the centripetal force that keeps you safe even though things around you are spinning in circles. Jesus’ power might be invisible, but it’s there just the same. Always trust in Him.
