Q: Why is it that everyone asks why do I wear skirts? And how come my Grandma says "Why are you homeschooled"? I am sick of them asking me.
A: Dear Charity,
You need to be glad when people ask you these questions, because it is your chance to share Jesus with them. For example, when they ask why you wear skirts all the time, you can tell them that as a follower of Jesus, you want to dress in a way that best represents Him, and you think that skirts look very nice and ladylike. When they ask you why you are homeschooled, you might tell them that you and your parents want you to have a quality Christian education because the most important thing in any person’s life is their salvation.

This is exactly why Jesus said “Blessed are you when others revile you and persecute you and utter all kinds of evil against you falsely ?on my account. ?Rejoice and be glad, for your reward is great in heaven…” (Mt 5:11-12).

Thanks for writing, and remember, there's never been a better time to share Jesus!

Your friend,
Pastor Howard
